Like So Cool is Kevin McGovern’s website about my life in online marketing and the interesting things I learn along the way.

Welcome to the site.

First of all, I am not like, so cool. I did, however, ask my niece a question once. She didn’t know the answer so I fired up the computer and went to Google. I clicked on the first result and we watched a video. She said, “that’s like, so cool.” And there ya go.

When.

Like So Cool was launched by Kevin McGovern on Thursday, January 1, 2009. I was hungover but motivated - the same as you.

Why.

In a halfway serious effort I had resolved to write more often and give a little back to the web where I had been taking for quite a while. It’s an easing back in sort of process, so expect a hockey stick level of effort curve here. If you’re reading this sometime in 2010, you can disregard that last bit. Hopefully.

What.

I read a lot. About a lot. A lot. I’m in the online marketing business and keep up with most of the things going on. I usually have an opinion and will attempt to reveal it on this site. I know, I know. Brevity is key. I want to encourage you to RTFA as much as possible. I also want to help. A little.

Who.

Already covered that. It’s not that important. You don’t need to click if you’re short on time.

Where.
